Styling Guide
Shirt
As this suit is neutral in design, it’s best to stick with classic tones and keep things conservative. Give yourself a bit of a preppy edge with a lighter blue or powder pink top but keep it simple. When working with opposing tones you want to make sure you keep it conservative. lighter colours in the summer will help to keep your styling on point. If you want to be bold, a light check will keep you looking sharp.
RECOMMENDATIONS: We love this one with a lighter blue or pink shirt that allows your tie to stand out and shine. Something with a check will keep things interesting but don’t go overboard with it.
Tie
Work with your shirt! If you’re going with a lighter blue, then consider a darker tie in a similar colour to give off a great accent. We’d suggest that you don’t get too busy with it unless you’re planning on making the tie the centrepiece of your outfit (IE: Going with something floral or paisley)
RECOMMENDATIONS: Work with your shirt if you want to make it simple. Go with something darker than what you’ve got on as your shirt and you cannot go wrong.
Shoes
Your best bet is brown with this suit. Black shoes may contrast too much with the neutral colour and cause a disconnect. Go with something medium or light in tan.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Go brown. Classic oxfords work to keep things in check, however, add some texture with some brogues if you want to keep it interesting.
OCCASIONS
This piece can be worn in all seasons. Pick up the vest for the winter months to help you keep warm.
