Description
Keep them guessing.
Alexandar is wearing the Yasawas with a custom lining which is an additional cost. Add this to yours in the Fitting and Customisations section.
The Yasawas island group in Fiji is known for two thing : gorgeous, emerald green waters, and the idea of “Fiji Time”. A beautiful concept which is beautifully encapsulated by a quote that a local of the area once told Suitably’s founder on his adventures.
“Time is nothing; whatever it is, it will get done, and if it doesn’t, it is not that big a problem anyway”
Honouring this, but updating it for urban life, the Yasawas is a structured, wool and linen blend that has strong suiting cues designed to keep everyone around you guessing and perhaps, remind you that you work on your own time. The tailor’s choice of slanted, flap pockets and a wide peak lapel create authority in a unique colour that means that the brave among us will see this as the power suit that shows that time is on your side.
Styling Guide
Shirt
Stick with lighter colours to make the suit pop. Our strongest recommendation is to stick with a crisp, white shirt and let the suit do the talking.
Tie
Depending on the season, a tie may not be necessary. If you opt to go with, deeper blue tones help to complete the look. Consider the texture that a woolen tie gives.
Shoes
A nice pair of casual brown shoes work best. Play to the suit and avoid formal shoes (Leave your black oxfords at home).
OCCASION
If you don’t have the basics in your wardrobe, you might want to put this one on hold. This is a great suit which shows some versatility by also doubling as a great sports jacket but it’s a summer specific style that works best in casual situations. If you’re a little further in to your menswear journey, this is a great occasion piece that will serve you well for years and several wonderful memories.
