    Before We Begin

Measuring yourself is a simple process if you follow the rules. Here are a few things to keep in mind when measuring yourself to make sure you get the best result. Click the options so we know that you've got the message.

Don't stress! We run every set of measurement through our AR and Averaging system. If we see something that looks a little suspect, we'll contact you by email and get you to double check.

    Basic Info
    Body Form

Choose the body type that best describes you.

    Neck Circumference (1/15)

Place the tape around the neck and around the middle of Adam's apple. Leave a forefinger’s worth of space within the tape.

    Shoulder Width (2/15)

Put tape along the shoulder arc, measure the shoulder arc from the left shoulder point to the right shoulder point. The "shoulder point" is the place where shoulder seam and armhole seam meet on a well-fitting shirt. Remember, the shoulder arc is not a straight line.

    Sleeve Length (3/15)

Place the tape on the shoulder point (where the shoulder seam and armhole seam meet on your well-fitting shirt). Measure from the shoulder point to just before where thumb and forefinger meet. Keep your arms straight and relaxed.

    Bicep circumference (4/15)

Put the tape under armpit, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your bicep.

    Wrist Circumference (5/15)

Measure around the wrist. This one is pretty simple. If we’re being honest, what your reading right now is just filler. Go get that measurement!

    Bust Circumference (6/15)

Relax your body and maintain a natural stance. Measure around the fullest part of your chest. Make sure your arms are down and ensure that you can feel the tape around your entire body.

    Jacket Waist (7/15)

Relax your body and maintain a natural stance. Measure at the bottom of the ribcage, or, if you’re carrying a little bit of love around the middle, measure at just before your belly starts. Make sure your arms are down and ensure that you can feel the tape around your entire body.

    Belly Circumference (8/15)

Relax your body and maintain a natural stance. Measure across the widest part of your belly. This is usually around the belly button. Make sure your arms are down and ensure that you can feel the tape around your entire body.

    Jacket length (9/15)

Measure straight down from the base of the neck (the point where the shoulder and neck meet) and run the tape straight down until it’s in line with just before where the thumb and forefinger meet.

    Waist Circumference (10/15)

Relax your body and maintain a natural stance. Measure around where you usually wear your belt, measure around the thinnest part of your waist. Ensure that you are not wearing a belt when you take this measurement. Ensure that you are not wearing jeans as these are worn lower and are thicker than suit pants.

    Hips Circumference (11/15)

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bum. Ensure that you can feel the tape around your entire body.

    Trouser Rise (12/15)

Place the tape at the top of the waistband in the middle of your pants. Run the tape through your legs and through to the top of the waistband at the back of your pants. Ensure that you can feel the tape the whole way but make sure that it’s not too tight (unless you want your swimmers a hard time).

    Thigh Circumference (13/15)

Place the tape just under the crotch and measure around the widest part of your thigh.

    Knee Circumference (14/15)

Measure around the leg about 5 cms above the knee.

    Trouser length (15/15)

Without shoes, measure vertically along the outseam from the top of your pant’s waistband to the floor.

Description

UNIVERSALLY BRILLIANT.

Part of the Katto Collection.

The Flat Iron is versatile and balances class and flair immaculately. This classic will work in most seasons and occasions. Despite its modern highlights, it wouldn’t be a Suitably suit if we didn’t pay homage to traditional tailoring cues. Large patch pockets and classic front darts provide a touch of sophistication to this collection.

Unlike most suits in this price point, Suitably never skimps on quality. All suits are made of a breathable, high quality, strong wearing material and a half-canvas construction that you would normally expect to find in suits that cost far more. This ensures that your suit will be comfortable, hold their shape and stand the test of time.

On top of this, ALL Suitably suits are tailored to the exacting measurements of each customer to ensure that you get the perfect fit.

Be Smart. Be Suitably.

Styling Guide

Shirt

Due to the colour and style, this suit will provide extreme versatility in shirt and tie decisions. Run with the situation at hand. Should it be formal, lighter colours should be the course however, this suit will work well with most shirts regardless of how loud they may be.

Tie

This suit goes great with most choices but ultimately it’ll come down to the situation. If it’s a casual or party situation, pull out those louder paisleys and patterned ties. If the situation is more business orientated, dial it down with a basic block colour or something in a gentle polka dot or foulard design.

Shoes

Definitely best to pair this one up with a basic shoe. Stay away from brogues or anything too messy unless the goal is to REALLY leave an impact (For better or for worse). A classic oxford in a traditional colour is always going to work best.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Stick with darker, oxfords. Black and brown both work really well, however, we’re impartial to a dark burgundy leather shoe as it sets off the styling.

OCCASIONS

This one can be dressed up or down depending on your occasion. As one of the more versatile suits in the Suitably collection, you’ll find yourself in top form regardless of the situation.

Observations/Notes

With a textured finished and a look unlike anything else that we’ve done, you’ll find that the Flat Iron will ensure that you are ready for any situation.
