The COVID-19 epidemic really stopped the world in its tracks and it particularly affected the wedding industry. Amid the chaos, a group of like-minded Victorian providers wanted to show people what they could do within the constraints of the restrictions. What ensued was a powerful and intimate elopement that focused on what was really important.

Meet Jay and Mike, the beautiful couple in question. We wanted to help them find a look that was not only true to themselves but also the quiet, beautiful surroundings that the ceremony would occur in. After a look at the colour palette and talking to the photographer, it was clear what needed to be done.

We opted for the unique Peach, available only on suitably.com.au – The beautiful iridescent material was luxurious and played with the light (or lack thereof when the rain poured) and was the perfect accompaniment to the earth tones and the beautiful, down to grassroots nature of the ceremony. Mike opted to measure himself at home using our quick and easy guide and his suit was delivered to his home and fit like a glove the first time.

We were so pleased to work with some of Victoria’s finest to deliver this beautiful occasion, in particular, the wonderful Melissa Badsey who organised everyone and made this beautiful event one that we’ll never forget.
