Description
Leave ’em Green with envy.
The bottle comes in a beautiful, earthy tone that helps the wearer look mature and unique at the same time. If you want to stand out, but also want something that can take you from the office to the pub, and then even to a wedding, Bottle is immensely versatile and depending on how you style it, will take you everywhere you need to go. If you want something unique and only have space in your life for a few good suits, the bottle makes a great alternative to a charcoal equivalent that comes off a little less austere without losing any of its elegance.
Styling Guide
Shirt
A crisp white shirt is the most obvious choice, but it certainly doesn’t stop there! Smart casual looks are very easy to achieve with lighter blues to help balance and compliment. We’re also a big fan of a neat denim shirt paired with this piece without a tie for those who want to come off effortless for their day-to-day. Off-whites would also help to create a warmer overall appearance to your outfit.
Tie
As a primary colour, green matches well with blues and reds provided that the tone of the tie isn’t too light. Aim for navy and maroon and consider some texture in the form of a knit or grenadine option. A light green option also works quite nicely if you’re after a more analogous look.
Shoes
Darker browns are the order of the day with Bottle. Blacks also lend favourably and will give you an uplift in formality if you’re wanting to add to the maturity of your outfit. Tans and lighter browns would work if you were wearing the jacket with a pair of jeans or as part of a suit separate outfit, but in a two or three-piece configuration, this should be avoided as it may contract too much with the earthy undertone.
Occasions
Bottle works well in several situations for the same reasons that a navy suit does. It adds a bit of vibrancy and colour to the overall outfit without being “overdone”. For this reason, you will find that this piece is more versatile than you may initially think and can work in almost any occasion depending on how you dress it up (or down).
Observations/Notes
Bottle works with most skin tones but seems to excel with those with olive or darker undertones. Consider grabbing this one in a double-breasted configuration for a knockout look that will have people stealing second glances.
